L'Oreal products!

I was shocked to receive this package of makeup the other day from BzzAgent! I'd filled out a screener weeks ago and immediately forgot, so I didn't expect to get cool stuff in the mail! BzzAgent is a community where you get to sample things and spread the word about it. Up until now I've received small things like a Redbox rental code, or free note cards from Expressionery - but this is right up my alley and super exciting! :)

In the package was L'Oreal's "The One Sweep" eye shadow and "Double Extend Eye Illuminator" mascara, both formulated for brown eyes. The One Sweep eye shadow has an extra-large brush that's supposed to be like 3 eyeshadow steps in one. The Double Extend mascara is double-ended - one side is black mascara, and the other side is a top coat colored to illuminate your eyes based on your eye color.

got2b Smooth Operator review and giveaway---CLOSED

I have Straight hair, well mostly. It has a mild wave to it.  I love the smooth sleek look that a lot of the celebrities have.  The straight hair that looks so smooth and shiny.  My hair does not cooperate.  It seems no matter what product I use it didn't give me the look I was going for OR if it did it only lasted for about, oh, 20 minutes or so.

To be fair, I'm not what anyone would call a hairstylist.  I'm lucky if I can put my hair in a straight pony tail (seriously). When bzzagent.com offered the got2b smooth operator hair campaign for their members I  jumped on it.  I'll try it.  What the hay, it can't work any worse than other product I've tried.  Plus, I was getting it for free.  One thing I like about bzzagent.com. they want you to pass the word about the product. Good or bad, they want to know.

With some skepticism I tried the got2b smooth operator  Smoothing Lustre Lotion product. I have to admit,  I don't hate it.  In fact, I rather like it.  It made my hair feel smooth and silky.  In this 85% humidity and 85 degree weather we've been experiencing in PA recently...my hair is not frizzy. My hair is actually straight.  I love it. 

The got2b smooth operator hair products are in cute girly containers. I love the little charm on the side of the Lustre Lotion.  The Smooth Operator line says it's "infused with cashmere" and "helps to protect against damage form heat styling and contains a UV protectant".

Children's Claritin Review and Coupons available

I am a member of Bzzagent.com  I received a box of Children's Claritin to try.

Almost as soon as I had received my bzzkit with the free package of Claritin I heard about the children's medication recall.  I found this site:  http://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/
The information on the site includes. Children's and Infant's Tylenol, Children's and Infant's Motrin, Children's Zyrtec, and Children's Benadryl.  As a a side note to this post, if you have any of these you can use the link above, click on the medication you have and type in the NDC number to see if your medication is included.  They are recalling because they are not up to quality standards.

That being said, and determining that the Claritin was ok, I'll move on. One of my children has allergies (inherited from me, poor guy).  When he started showing signs about 2 years ago I took him to the Pediatricians office.  My doctor had recommended Claritin for him. Claritin seems to work well for him.  I have a friend however that said Claritin turned her daughter into "a demon child" and as soon as she was changed to another medication she was fine.

Always ask your child's doctor if you are unsure or have questions about a medication.

Signing up for the Children's Claritin Bzz campaign worked for me.  We  keep it on hand for my son anyway.  The pills are small, chewable, and grape flavored.  My son tolerates taking it well when it's needed.

Starbuck's Pike's Place Roast Review---Bzzagent

I'm a member of Bzzagent.com.  Which makes me, a bzzagent.   There are so many perks to being a bzzagent.  Number 1 is getting to try new products for free. My latest product: Starbuck's Pike's Place Roast ground coffee. 

As any coffee lover might agree the scent of a freshly opened package of coffee is enough to wake you up sometimes. The Scent of Starbuck's Pike Place Roast is no different. I have to admit, I'm not an avid Starbuck's coffee drinker but I do treat myself every now and then.  This Pike's Place Roast however, may make me indulge a little more often. It has a very smooth flavor. Great by itself or with your favorite creamer.  ( I did try it both ways.)  I was reading the package and Pike's Place Roast is in reference to Starbucks first store site in Seattle's Pike Place Market. I did not know that.

As a freebie addict I also notice on the bag "Bring your empty bag (from the coffee) we'll give you a coffee.  When this bag is out of coffee, exchange it for a tall brewed coffee (12 fl oz) on us."  So there's my next Starbucks trip.  Yay!

I also received a small bag of Caffe Verona ground coffee in my bzzkit.  This one is bolder.  In my opinion not as smooth as the Pike Place Roast.  The description of the Caffe Verona reads: "Inspired by Italian passion for wonderful food and coffee, this rich, well-balanced blend has a dark cocoa texture and a roasty sweetness, like the flavor of fire-roasted marshmallows after you pull off the darkened cap."  boy do they know how to make you want to drink coffee.
