TruBlend...I wish!

I don't like giving something a bad review, I really don't. However when I try a product that isn't good (at least it wasn't for me) than I want to share the reasons why I didn't like it and maybe help you save some money. Some products work for some people and some don't. This product did NOT work for me.



CoverGirl TruBlend Whipped Foundation

I am on a mission to find a cheaper version of the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer but I'm beginning to realize nothing is going to compare.
I found the Covergirl TruBlend Whipped foundation tonight at Rite Aid. It looked light, creamy and beautiful in it's little glass jar. I opened the top and it looked like it might be a winner but than I notice something...the scent smells like a cheap liquid hand soap at a gas station. Yuck. I try and forget about the horrible scent and apply it to my face... this is the biggest mistake I've made since I tried MAC SFF (this mistake may be worse!!). It is so greasy... and greasy is an under statement in my opinion. Coverage leaves a lot to be desired...it's very sheer and in the worst possible way. I had a hard time finding the right color match as well. It's hard when you can't actually see the true color through the glass. It doesn't really blend that well and took a few layers to even look half way decent.

The very worst thing about this product is within 3 hours of putting it on it's completely broken me out. 5 new blemishes in 3 hours. Not only did it break me out it made my whole face feel soooo itchy! I hate this stuff and it's going back tomorrow. Biggest waste of money.

Now I'm off to scrub my itcy face. Get this stuff off of me!!

today, as i told yesterday, i was in vaasa with my school （*^ ^*） it was such a nice school day haha~ but trip in a bus was boriiiing.. in vaasa we had about one and half hour for free time, such a short time ! but we went to shopping centre and to eat ヽ(´∀｀*)ﾉ i can't control my shopping lol. i should save money for weekend but i bought a dress and a T-shirt~~ hehe (〃^∇^)o i wish we would have more free time. then we went to theatre to watch a play 「MOTEL MORRISON」. it told about jim morrison's life and it was .. quite strange and psychedelic haha. after the play we left to the home and it was so hot in the bus (*>O<*) i was about to die T_T

spring coat

i bought this coat for spring some months ago

from VERO MODA～;｡+ﾟ( ｡･^з^･｡)ﾟ+｡
but it was quite boring like that~ so i made a little decoration to it (o^▽^o)


i sewed a big ribbon to the back of coat~ i hadn't sewed anything for a long time so it didn't succeed as well as i planned. but it's okay （◎ゝ∀・）ﾉ sorry the coat is a bit wrinkled ･･(ーー;)



today i also got this shirt that i ordered form H&M (*゜∀゜*)




tomorrow i'm going to theater with my school class ! and day after tomorrow i'm flying to Riga for SHOPPINNNG! (｡￫∀￩｡）

ARRGGHH FUCKING BANDWIDTH

my photobucket bandwidth exceeded.. (>_<) so annoying ! pictures will be back to normal 10th of May when bandwith resets, so loooong time, almost three weeks. i haaaate photobucket >_< i updated pictures to tinypic so layout is fine now and also fixed last entry. but other entries.. i don't have time to update them all.. so you'll see them again 10th of May~ or 4th.. i'm not sure which one is the day haha. i'm sorry ;_;

today i went shopping! just a little bit because next thursday i'm going to riga for our shopping trip～(´∀｀)ﾉ this was the outfit of today ! pink hoodie is from ValenTine's High, jeans from Sister's Point and vest is old one from Seppälä. i needed some censorship 'cause my face looked angry lol~ today my main purchase was -tittiditii- new cellphone (〃^∇^)o cellphone variety in finlad is from aaaass nowadays.. every cellphone is boring black or grey colored slide-model (￣￣0￣￣) i wanted pink or white flap model but noooo~ i can't find it anywhere.. i became really distressed in the phone store .. finally i took Nokia N95 model (^｡^; ) it looks ugly but features are the best (*゜∀゜*) 5 megapixels camera ~ as much megapixels as in my digicamera lol but i prefer cellphone camera 'cause it makes face a bit blurry so my face doesn't look so bad v(o￣∇￣o) the color of cellphone.. i don't actually know what it is. something between grey and purple and black. ugly color .. tomorrow i'm going to make a order to Curvy's so hopefully my phone looks better then （◎ゝ∀・）ﾉ but there is only sooo a bit area for decorating.... blaaah that sucks. and my mother said i can't 'ruin' my expensive cellphone with glue and diamonds ;_; after byuing cellphone i went to look for pink lace for my himedeco but.. again i got so pissed off. i couldn't find pink lace anywhere aaaarrrrghhhh~~

then i went to eat at chinese restaurant and it cheered me up ＼(*＾∀＾*)／ because chinese food is my favourite food (^▽^) ah it was so good ! then i went for clothing shoppin' !




KappAhl has such a great clothes nowadays ! ﾟ｡+(o´∀`)ﾉ+｡ﾟ before they were so boring but now i find a lot to buy there ＼(^_^)／ these clothes are just that style i like~ light colors and girly things and lace and frill and ribbons ! and i really like 'Vintage Stories' collection ((p(*>ω<*)q)) i bought the grey cardigan and ivory stockings~ pictures aren't the best of cardigan, you'll see it better in 'today's outfit' posts! i also tried that pink dress of Vintage Stories collection but i decided to save my money for next week （＊＾　＾＊）☆ hopefully i can find cute dresses from Riga! there is also picture of stockings:

also tried baby pink jeans at H&M and decided to buy them from Riga too~ but at H&M i made a really good find from discount sale; Hello Kitty pyjama ! （≧ω≦） and only 9 euros~

What's HOT and what's NOT...this my own opinion..so if I offend you or something you like is "not hot" than I'm sorry. If you like what I don't than that's totally fine. To each is their own!!:)

HOT- Faux Tans... St. Tropez, baby.
NOT- Tanning Beds. I used to be addicted but it REALLY ages you... and fast.

HOT- Mixing it up between high-end make-up and drug store make-up.
NOT- Being a high-end snob and looking down on others who use drugstore make-up.

HOT- Youtube
NOT- TV ( I barely watch TV anymore...maybe 3 or 4 times a week. CRAZY... I know).

HOT-Coach purses. Classy, well made, beautiful. While still expensive they aren't over the top.
NOT- Louis Vouttin. Don't get me wrong...I like Louis Vuitton. But, $1000 for a brown leather purse with LV on it... I just don't get it. I do like the look and think they are classy but they are more for show.. like "hey look at me... I'm rich."

HOT- Caffeine free coca-cola (not diet)...it's still not good for me but at least I cut out that nasty caffeine. It's like a drug. lol

I love to pair the #44 Bronze Dazzle dust with MAC Woodwinked (Woodwinked has gold/bronze undertones so they work perfect together).

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer=LOVE!!!

I really honestly can't say enough about the Laura Mericer tinted moisturizer. It's the dream "foundation". I'm not into foundations at ALL...as you know. I don't like the cakey unnatural look it gives. This is totally different. Every time I put it on it's like the first time. Ha ha. I think to myself "wow this stuff is amazing!". It give such a beautiful dewy glow.. but in a GOOD way. It's a tinted moisturizer so obviously it's not a full coverage foundation but if you don't need that than this is perfect for you. Want a flawless face...this will give you just that. It evens out your skin tone and creates a very smooth, beautiful, flawless face. This will not accentuate your pores like some foundations. It's virtually... perfect. The only thing I don't like about it is the price tag! $42 big ones for this... but it's worth it. I've found my HG foundation AT LAST!!!!!
I use the Oil Free in the color nude.
