So Ceylon vs. Chroma Face Glow in Sunstone

So, I've had a chance to try out the MAC MSF So Ceylon and I really like it however I still think the Chroma Face Glow is better. Crazy, huh? The So Ceylon is a very pretty and very well pigmented and goes on amazing. I find the Chroma Face Glow easier to work with to tell you the truth... not that the So Ceylon is hard to work with but I think that because of the pigmentation it could have the potential of going on too dark. One or two swipes of the Chroma and you are good to go.
The Chroma face glow has a little more shimmer highlight and pink tone where the So Ceylon had more of a copper look.
I think the NYC is more beautiful.. it has dark cranberry/brownish/goldish veins it.
The MAC So Ceylon is $25 and the NYC is $4.99.
Putting the price a side which is veerrryy appealing.. I think I'd still grab for the NYC first.

Both products are great though...Well worth the money for either!

Here is the So Ceylon and NYC Chroma Face Glow- very similar shaped containers
Photobucket

As you can see the colors are very close but the NYC has more vaining. Beautiful.
Photobucket

NYC Chroma Face Glow in Sunstone on the left and MAC So Ceylon on the right. Very close but like I said the NYC has a little more pinky shimmer and the So Ceylon has a more copper look.

So Ceylon- I'm so excited to try you!

I just got my Mac So Ceylon in the mail today... I'm soooo excited to try it out! God Bless makeupalley swaps!:) I got rid of a parfume I used like once and hopefully I've gained a new love in the Mac MSF So Ceylon. I've heard ammmmaazzzing things about it. It was darker than I was thinking it was going to be though. It's very coppery. So, I'm hoping it doesn't go on that dark otherwise it's not gonna look so good... but on the flipside... I got it in a swap so I didn't pay anything for it but $2.00 to ship off my parfume!:)

I need to go take a shower and get ready... and once I try it... I'll let you know!!
So excited!!!

Top 3 Mascaras

I think that I'm pretty finicky when it comes to mascaras. I can't stand a wet feeling lash that makes it hard to curl with the eye lash curler. I hate eyelashes that stick together or flake. So, after many a dollars down the drain I think I've found 3 that really work well for me. I will also name the 3 I can't stand...there are wayyyy more than 3 I hate but I'll try and be nice and just name 3. :)

Top 3 Mascaras and why-

1. Diorshow by Christian Dior- This is an award-winning mascara for a reason. It is PERFECT. It defines, lengthens, separates, volumizes and curls. Perfectly. I love the light rose scent. There is nothing better than sweet smelling mascara. The wand brush is very large so it's easy to get all the lashes. It doesn't go on wet or too thick... it's a very smooth mascara. It's very easy to wash off at the end of the night. You don't need 5 cotton pads to get it off. It is pricey so that's the downside and it doesn't last as long as my other mascaras...it tends to start getting hard to get out but that's probably when I should be changing my mascara anyways... by make-up rules that is.
Two thumbs up from me!! Retails for $24
Photobucket

2. Clinique High Impact- If you are reluctant about trying an expensive mascara, buy this. The brush makes application easy. Every lash is coated well. No smudges or flaking. Lashes soft to the touch. You only really need one coat but I like to add a few coats... just can't help myself. It also is very easy to take off at night and that's important. Retails for $14.
Photobucket

3. Maybelline Define a Lash- and it does JUST that... defines the lashes amazing! The way the brush is created really does do the trick to separate and lengthen. Worked great to volumise my my lashes and separate them and make them look beautiful. It makes my lashes look thinner compared to the Dior but it really does define them really well and makes them so soft.
Also, like the other washes off really well. Retails for $7.99 (I believe)
Photobucket

Top 3 Mascaras I can't stand and why

1. Cargo TexasLash- I HATTTTEEE THIS STUFF. Texas size lashes.. yeah right! It smells soooo bad. Mascara should not smell like that. It's horrible! The consistency was very thin compared to other volumizing mascaras I have tried...So it smudged and clumped up like crazy while applying. When it dries you can literally pinch your lashes between your fingernails and peel the mascara off. Not impressed in the least. It's also a very wet mascara making it very hard to curl with an eyelash curler. WASTE OF MONEY!! Retails for $20 GRRRRRRR like I said WASTE OF MONEY!!!

2.Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express- I believed the hype and I shouldn't have. This product stinks... or at least that's what I think. Make-up is subjective... to each is their own. This mascara stays watery for some time after application, and the whole watery formula and wand shape NEEDS a precise application to achieve a nice look, and the worst of all... FLAKES LIKE CRAZY!!! Result: Heinous. Hideous. I didn't even pay attention to the smell, all I noticed was the creepy daddy long legs look of which my eyelashes took shape after the first swipe. Okay. That was only one swipe, let's try this again. Swipe two, three, four... my eyelashes weren't getting any thicker, only more spidery and crusty looking. GROSS. 10 x's long my behind!! Retails for $7.99 ( think)

3. Clinique Lash Power Mascara- Vows to look pretty for 24 hours without a smudge or smear. Lasts through rain, sweat, humidity, tears.... uhhhhhhh YEA RIGHT... this stuff does non of the above but make my lashes stick straight out and makes it impossible to curl...doesn't last for 24 hours...I wouldn't even want this stuff on my lashes for 5 mins let alone 24 hours. YUCK!
Retails for $14

4. Ok... had to add this one...LashBlast SUCKED!! Booooo...so sad!! What a waste. The wand is nasty and it goes on my lashes horribly!!!

What mascara do you love or hate...and if you love the ones that I hate that's ok, too!!
Let me know what you think!

My new cheek combo obsession

I'm obsessed with this cheek combo... I use Benefit Hoola to contour my cheek bone, MAC Melba on the apples of my cheeks and my new favorite HG N.Y.C Chroma Face Glow in Sunstone all along my cheek.

The N.Y.C Chroma Face Glow is a Limited Edition product and I think that's pretty stupid on N.Y.C's part. They could make a TON of money on this stuff if they brought it to their full line. Write them at tell them! I've written them twice at their website. :)
http://www.newyorkcolor.com/customerserv/contact.cfm

Many people compare it to MAC's MSF's but muuccch cheaper... $5 instead of $25.
They say the Sunstone is comparable to So Ceylon and Moonstone is comparable to Petticoat.

Read the reviews here-
http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=111497/Chroma_Face_Glow/New_York_Color/Highlighters

So, anyway...here is my combo! :)

CHI Flat Iron

I watched a video on YT yesterday about how to get sleek runway hair done by julieg713 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SgWPfANKCU
So, she totally sold me on the CHI flat iron... I've been reading reviews about it though and some people love it and some people hate it. I've heard it can be pretty harsh on the hair but what hair strightner isn't?? I've also heard they die pretty easy so that kinda sucks.
I found one on Amazon.com for $60 and if you open up an Amazon Visa card then you get $30 back from them...making my grand total $30... good deal... good deal.
My only fear is that it's not an authentic CHI because I'm not buying it directly from CHI. This is what lack of self control gets me... panic and fear. Ha ha

Has anyone else used this and what do you think about it? Is it worth it and is all the hype about it true?

What other hair strightners do you love??

Everyday Minerals update

The first review I did on here was BM vs EDM... so after giving it sometime I now know that I'm for sure 100% a Bare Minerals gal. I ordered the free sample pack and thought it was pretty good.. I wasn't crazy about how it went on or how it felt.. I felt a little chalky to me but I thought I'd give it a good try because of the price. I ordered the Sunkissed Fair in the full size and I've used it once. What a waste! It's harder to work with than the BM because the dish is so shallow and the powder flies everywhere. I'm still in love with their flat top brush... that to me was a great buy. I'm also pleased with their Summer Stroll blush even though I haven't touched it in a few days because I'm enamored with my N.Y.C Chroma Face Glow...*crosses her fingers they don't make it LE forever and bring it to their full line*

So, do I think EDM's was a waste of money... kinda, yes. I don't think I'll buy it again or even use up what I have. It might work for some people but I'm an Bare Minerals kinda gal!:)

The Budget Babe

Here are some ideas or tips I've learned along the way to still look like a million bucks without breaking the bank...if there is even a bank to break!

Tip #1-
Go to your local beauty school for a hair trim. I've been trying to grow my hair out for ages and when I need a trim I only want a half an inch off (if that)... so why pay someone $45 to take a half an inch off when you can go to the beauty school and have someone do the SAME thing for $6-8!! That's a no brianer!

Tip #2-
Either color your hair yourself or go to the beauty school. I've been coloring my hair myself for years but as my hair has gotten longer and being as pregnant as I am it has become kinda hard and I found myself missing parts of my hair or getting the dye everywhere. I went to the local beauty school last month and had one of the girls do it for me and it cost me $20 but if I would have went to a real salon it would have been $50-60. I think it came out great!

Tip #3-
I really wanted to get a brow highlighter but all the ones I saw at Sephora were $20 and up. At the time it was either $20 for a brow highlighter or $20 for diapers for my son...hmmmm...duh... of course I'm gonna spend that on things we NEED and just not on what I WANT so I thought in the meantime I'd just get a really light stick consealer (I got a Rimmel for $4) and it does the trick for now.

Tip #4-
Do your own french mani/pedi... it's not as relaxing or even nice looking but hey... still looks good and polished!

Tip #5-
This is not make-up related but it's an easy way to make money... take the clothes you aren't wearing to your local resale shop... wait for them to sell and get some mad money. I just picked up a check for $50! Whoo hoo!

Anastasia of beverly hills clear brow gel

I have a slight obsession with eyebrows. Mine aren't perfect or anywhere how I'd like them to look but I find myself plucking them everynight before I got to bed if I feel any new hairs sprout up. When I do my eyebrows during the day I'd always spray a little hairspray on the eyebrow brush to keep them in place because I hate looking in the mirror and seeing unrulely brows. The problem with hairspray is they become stiff and crusty...and that's not a good look!

I found the Anastasia Clear Brow gel and it does the trick. It keep them in place very well. It drys kinda hard like hairspray but without the stiff/crusty feel. It keeps them in place beautifuly.

I'm pleased... so buh-bye stiff brows and hello to nice shaped brows that stay in place just how you want them!!!

Great Eyelash Tip

I remember reading in Teen magazine when I was in middle school a trick to having long curly eyelashes. I swear by it and think you should try it if you haven't already.

All you need is a hair dryer and an eyelash curler...

Eyelash curlers work better when they are slightly hot. You can heat them up by gently using a hair dryer. Place the eyelash curler under the blow dryer for approximately five seconds under low heat. After heating, open the eyelash curler and position near the root of your lashes. Hold the eyelash curler at your eyelashes for ten to (I always count to 20) thirty seconds. Remember the longer the hold time the more curve you will get. As you move up your lashes clamp and unclamp the curlers.

So, if you've never tried a heated eyelash curler you are missing out!! You will be amazed with the results I promise you! Go give it a try!:)

Youtube

I finally got around to doing some youtube videos...I was waiting for a bigger memory card for my camera... and time. I have a 16 month old son and I'm due on Halloween to have another on Halloween (hopefull before then!).
So, check out my link and videos
http://www.youtube.com/user/sardun1

I was looking for Enormous Lash reviews in google and saw Lollipop26's review on youtube...ever since than I've been come a youtube beauty review addict!:) And she sold me on getting the Enormous Lash!

Hopefully I can get around to making some more videos when I get a little time...nap time! Whoo hoo! It's momma time!

Have a good night!:)

The Busy Mom or Lazy Girls 2 minute eye

I don't have a lot of time these days with a 16 month old running around and 9 days left until my due date. I just can't spend a ton of time doing my make-up. I've talked about the Covergirl Shimmering Sands Trio before and I'm gonna again. I just love this stuff. Seriously with this shadow I can get semi decent eyes in 2 mins. I just use the lightest pinky/pearl color all over my lid and the darkest on my crease...and vola...
Photobucket
It's not dramatic or anything but it does the trick. You can of course make it dramatic if you want to spend more time on it.. but I only had 2 mins and for 2 mins I think it looks ok... and I of course used the UDPP as a base...

Coastal Scents Neutral Palette- whoo hoo!

I'm soooooo excited it's in stock again! I've been checking everyday since Lollipop26 has raved on and on about it... this afternoon it was still out of stock and when I checked again about 30 mins ago it said NOW BACK IN STOCK. Whoo hoo. I'm excited!! I'm pretty much a neutral kinda girl so I think this palette will really work for me. It's only $21 for 28 colors...so I think that's a pretty darn good price... however call me a stickler but $8.50 for shipping... c'mon... I'm sorry but that's a rip! The thing probably is only $5 to ship... grrr... ok... enough complaining... I'm sure the palette is worth it! Thanks for the rec, Laura. I'm suuuupppeeerrr excited to get my hands on it!!:) I have a feeling though this palette will be sold out again in no time... so get it while you can!!

Inside my purse.. sadly not too exciting today!

I guess I picked the wrong day to take a peek at whats inside my purse. Boring! I cleaned it out yesterday. I had so many usless papers and wrappers.
So lets take a look...*yawn*
This is my vintage LV purse that's falling apart. I got it a few years ago at a vintage resale store. It holds a lot of junk. Guess wallet with hardly any money in it :(, debit card, library card, blockbuster card, drivers license. Ralph Lauren bag filled with lipstick... I think I have a realllll lipstick problem, my sons yellow lambo to keep him happy while we are out, car/house keys, hair band, 2 hair clips, contact case, iphone, sharpie pen for my constent makeupalley swap (I feel like I'm at the post office every other day).
Photobucket
Now lets take a look at the good stuff inside the make-up bag...it's only lipsticks... I guess that's my thing. LOL

Tarte Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler

This has to be the greatest eyelash curler ever created! I got this one about a year ago because my old one from the drugstore was pulling my lashes out and I was always pinching my eyelid.. ouch! I was at Sephora's and I saw this one. I loved the way it felt, the handles were nice and large and it felt really good to squeeze. I've been using it everyday ever since and I have to say I'm kinda in love with it. It gives a great curl and not once has it pinched my eyelid. I give this an A++ in function and design.
I've also tried the much talked about Shu Uemura eyelash curler and which it gives a nice curl but I had the same problem with the drugstore curlers.. it pulls lashes out and pinches! Not cool! Also... it was $26...*GASP*...I paid THAT for an eyelash curler?!?! What is wrong with me? Now it just sits in my make-up bag!:(

Aspirin Mask.. have you tried it?

I had never heard of an Aspirin mask until I started going to makeupalley and around 1,480 have reviewed it so far and 83% of all people would use it again so I had to try it. It's super annoying to make the mixture and takes a long time and work to crush up the little pills. People who do it swear it makes your face so smooth and helps ache. I really don't think it did anything special for my skin and it was a pain in the butt to make. Here's how though-
1) Take around 2-4 tablets of aspirin.
2) Sprinkle and I mean SPRINKLE drops of water on the aspirin, if you use too much water, it will become too mushy and pretty much useless. You can also add a little honey to the mixture if you'd like (I didn't)
3) If you added the right amount of water, it should start to disenegrate on it's own If it does not dissolve, use your fingers to break it apart and mix it with the water. (MINE DIDN'T DISENEGRATE!! GRRRR)
***Note, the texture of this should be VERY grainy
4)Now, start applying the mixture on your face. Make sure you avoid the eye area like I did. Also, try and avoid getting the aspirin in your nostrils, you do not want to breath this in.
5)Apply and spread the entire mixture on your face. Leave it on like a mask for 10 MINUTES. After the 10 minutes are up, wash off your face. As you are washing it off, take advantage of the grainy texture of the aspirin and exfoliate your skin. This will get the dead skin cells off your face, and polish your skin to leave it glowing.

Ok, so... those are the instructions I found online.... my tablets were like hard rocks and it took forever to break up until small peices... it didn't leave my skin beautiful or glowing. I'd much rather use my MAC Microfine Refinisher... works much better! I don't have the time to making a homemade mixture like this... so 2 thumbs down from me but 83% of people who reviewed it loved it... so I'm sure it's good and works...just not for me.

Givenchy Pop Gloss in Exciting Coral... I love you!

This has to be one of my all time favorite lip glosses. It goes on so smooth and beautiful. I adore the texture of this. It doesn't last a super long time but I don't mind because I get a weird pleasure every time I put it on... it's so nice! The color is simply beautiful. It's a little pricey...ok... a lot pricey for lipgloss $24 but it's worth it. I got mine around Christmas 07 and I won't have to replace it for a few more months. I don't use it everyday all day though because of the price.
Photobucket

Here is a picture of me today weaing Givenchy Popgloss in Exciting Coral, nude lip liner in I'm not sure what brand, MAC NW20 Studio fix, Everyday minerals in Sunkissed fair, Benefit Hoola, MAC Melba blush, my fave CG trio in Shimmering sands, Cole liner by L'Oreal, Maybelline Define a lash. 9 1/2 months pregnant here... puffy face.... blah!
Photobucket

Mystic Tan

I totally love the mystic tan...for one because I'm pregnant and I can't do a regular tan (which I LOVE even though I know it's horrible for my skin)... and it really does give a nice glow. I went to a new salon where they have the new high tec Mystic and I nearly choked from trying to hold my breath because the spray was soooo strong and I didn't think that was very heathly for my unborn baby. I'm pleased with the color however I wore these little booties (I've never tried them before) because I just got my toes done and I didn't want an orange french mani!
Well.. here is how my feet turned out.. not so pretty! LOL But hey...at least I know I got some color!! Ha ha

Nice tan lines...NOT!!

My CG Trio

This is the same ole eye I've been doing since 2001... of course I do switch it up but on lazy days without a doubt this never fails and it's so easy and fast! It's my HG covergirl Shimmering SAnds Trio! I use the lightest color all over my eye and the darkest in the trio at my crease...and that's it!
Photobucket
Photobucket

This last pic is a pretty natural make-up. I used the CG Trio, Bare Minerals in Medium Beige, MAC lipglass lipgel in slicked pink, MAC blush in Gingerly, DIORSHOW mascara, dark brown eyeliner (not sure the brand)...and that's it!

Makeupalley.com

I'm offically addicted! I first started going there to read reviews because I hate buying something than getting home and kicking myself... reading the reviews have saved me from buying a lot of things that I probably didn't need in the first place... so reading the reviews are great but what really has got me addicted is the swapping! Whoever thought of this was pure genius! At first I didn't really get and thought using other peoples make-up was kinda gross...than I thought about it... when I got to Sephoras I go crazy and try on everything... and probably 1,000 people have tried on that same blush... so swapping with one person who has something I want but probably shouldn't spend money on makes me VERRYYY happy..all I have to do is clean it well before using and I'm good to go.
So, if you have tons of make-up just sitting around and have a make-up addiction like I do...and get a thrill out of getting new make-up... try swapping!!
Look me up at makeupalley.com SN- sardun
Be prepared to become addicted!

N.Y.C Chroma Face Glow

I was at the supermarket going to buy my son formula and I thought ah what the heck why not stop by the beauty dept while I'm here and this caught my eye. I ripped open the package as soon as I got in my car and put it on my cheeks with my finger...and to my supirse it's awesome!! I'm lovin this stuff.. it's such a beautiful color anddddd...it's $4.99. YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT!! It's an amazing color and highlights the cheeks amazing! I bought one but I'm going to rush back asap to get another because it's limited edition for fall...and I don't wanna miss out on it. This is the first time I ever bought N.Y.C...who knows if I'll buy any of their other products but I'm sold on this for sure!!:)

Urban Decay Primer Potion

This stuff is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I don't always believe the hype on things and tend to get disappointed when a product everyone raves about turns out to be bad... but what they say is true... this stuff is great and really works!! I'm sold and I don't think I'll ever wear eye shadow with out it. It goes on really smooth and it's super light... not sticky at all! My eye shadow lasts ALL day long... no touch ups!! I'm in love with this product!!!:)

You don't need a lot of this... just dab a little on your eyes with the wand and with your finger pat it all over your eye lid and browbone. It helps your eyeshadow go on really well and makes it last ALL DAY... seriously!:) It's $16 and I think it's well worth it!
Photobucket

Cheaper Make-up that works amazing!

I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for. If you want a good product you most likely going to have to spend a bit of money. However... there are some exceptions I've found and these few cheaper products are ones I use almost daily!

Covergirl makes the most amazing eyeshadow trio that I've been using since 2001. The colors are very pretty and they go on very smooth. I use Eye enhancers in shimmering sands.
It comes with a dark brown, a lighter taupe (I barely use that one though) and an amazing pinkish/pearl color that I use all over my lid and along my browline for a highlight. It's like $4 from the drugstore... can't beat that!
Photobucket

Bonnie Bell makes an amazing lipgloss called LipLITES in the color/flavor of cappuccino. It's a very pretty nude color. It goes on so smooth and not one bit sticky. By the texture you'd think it would be a $20 lipgloss but it's like $2 or something crazy like that. It looks amazing with a nude lipliner. I've used this since 2006. Seriously... go buy it. You won't regret it!
Photobucket

Jelly Gloss (color 100 Tutti Frutti) by Rimmel London is a great pink gloss. It's very light feeling and not sticky at all. It comes in a small tube but seems to last a lonnnng time!
Photobucket

I adore Garnier products! Everything they make is great. I love their Sleek and Shine products for the hair, the leave in conditioner they make works like magic and even their Skin Renew moisture lotion goes on really nice and is gentle on the skin. Plus...ALL their products smell great!
Photobucket

See...sometimes you don't have to pay a ton of money to get great products!

Nars Orgasm

Also known as the greatest blush on earth... the universal blush every woman should own..uhhhh... yeah not so much! I won't deny it's a pretty color but it didn't work on every woman as they say. It sure as heck doesn't work that well for me. Thank goodness I got this in a swap from makeupalley because it's pretty expensive and in my mind it really would have been a waste of money. It's $25 and the case is pretty small.

I've heard soooo much about it through reviews, magazines, Sephora's, etc etc... most people say this is the most amazing blush ever made but I'm not quite so sure about it yet. Don't get me wrong... it's nice but it's not THAT great. I have kinda fair skin ( and they say thats what it looks best on) but you can't really tell I'm wearing anything. It's very sutle. I personality don't think its any better than a MAC blush. If you want a light dust of color I'd say this is perfect for you but if you'd like something more dramatic and to contour your cheeks... then this is NOT the blush for you. If you put to much on you'll look like a clown but you kinda have to put a lot on because it goes on so light. It's a nice pinky/peach color with gold undertones but I can't see it being best blush ever or why it's such a cult favorite like it is...

Photobucket

Enormous Lash

First off... let me explain what Enormous Lash is for those of you who don't know what it is.. it's an eyelash serum that is applied along the lash line morning and nightly like liquid eyeliner. It's supposed to make your eyelashes really long. It retails for about $95 (whoa! I know) and one tube is supposed to last 8-12 months.

I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I haven't seen too much of a change...yet. They say it can take up to 12 weeks to work. I have seen a few new lashes sprout up so that gives me hope! It doesn't really bother my eyes but kinda stings a little (they say it's not supposed to).

I've heard great things about Enormous lash so I'm willing to be patient! One things about Enormous Lash is they have a 12 month money back if you don't like it...

I hope it works!!
You can find it at Nordstroms, eBay ( which is where I got it... free shipping, too!) or their offical site http://www.beautysociety.com/

Note- this is not my eye!

Hoola by Benefit Review

I heard a lot about this bronzer throughout the years but never gave it a 2nd thought. I've become addicted to makeupalley.com and youtube make-up reviews and started hearing really great things about. I went out and got it and the first day I tried it I thought I made a big mistake buying it!! However.. there is an art to using Hoola...at least for me because I have kinda fair skin. When I first tried it I looked muddy and it showed every single line on my forehead and face... I was using to much. YOU ONLY NEED A LITTLE!! A little goes a lonnnng way with Hoola. Don't go over overboard with it! I found out that it makes a great cheekbone contour. I take my blush brush and put just a little on my cheekbones, forehead, chin and nose...everywhere the sun would naturally kiss my face. Ever sense I figured out how to use it right I've been very pleased and think it's a very beautiful color.

My first review! Bare Minerals vs. Everyday Minerals

I've been using Bare Minerals in Medium Beige since 2005 and have raved and raved about it for years. It goes on so smooth and natural and covers up blemishes very well. It's never once broken my skin out. One thing I don't like about it is the light translucent sheen it gives... some people like it but I don't. It doesn't rub off and has no funky smell to it. At first I loved the mineral vail but I'm not that big of a fan of it anymore. It's kinda messy and dispite what other people say it does make my face look lighter.

Now for the Everyday Minerals... I just ordered the free sample pack off their site a few days ago and they shipped it out so fast. I think I had to wait 2 or 3 days. With the free sample pack you can try 3 foundations, 1 concealer and 1 blush. What I like about Everyday Minerals opposed to BM is you can choose from so many different foundation colors in your skin tone (warm, cool, etc) and you can also choose if you'd like it more matte, intence or with a glow. Today is my 2nd day trying it and so far so good. It has a little more chalky feel than smooth like BM but it went on good. The blush goes on very pretty... better than BM's to tell you the truth and they have wayyyy more colors to choose from. I wasn't too impressed with the concealer... the one I picked was not matte and it was very shiny like a highlighter or something. One other thing I really like about EM is the price tag... wayyyy cheaper!!

So, over all I'm still a Bare Minerals fan... I still would say I choose BM but Everyday Minerals is coming in a close 2nd... I need to give it more time.
Both are great products that I would recommend anyone to buy!
