This makeup mistake is all about mascara; namely, too much of it. We all want luxuriously long, thick eyelashes, but let's face it, globbing on mascara is not a pretty way to make that happen. When too much mascara is applied, lashes can look spidery, unnatural, and just plain creepy. The goal is to look like you have naturally beautiful lashes, not like you have on a lot of mascara. I would suggest false eyelashes if you really want a dramatic lash look. For those of us who just want extra oomph from what we already have, sometimes less is more. Often, just wiping excess product off the wand before you apply mascara can make all the difference.
