Hate buying jeans?

Alright I know you are thinking how terrible buying jeans is...I am not going to pretend like it is fun or easy. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is hard work! It is said that you need to try an average of 20 pairs of jeans on before finding the perfect pair. After you find that pair, buy two! This sounds silly but you want to buy one pair to wear with heels and one pair to have hemmed. Jeans are sort of an investment since typically people keep them for a long time.

Jean tips:
1. avoid a low waist because it creates a tummy
2. dark wash is much more flattering than light wash
3. AVOID white bleach lines on the jeans... they are outdated but mostly they widen the leg
4. medium wash is okay too but be careful
5. Flap pockets on back don't always flatter the bum! On me for example: they hide my butt. On a bigger woman they could accentuate the butt. So just be aware of this.

Where to find the perfect pair?
It is going to be different for every body shape and personal preference. American Eagle is a great go to because they have so many color, style, and size options.. they even have short, regular, and long! Gap is another great place for the same reasons as American Eagle. If you want to spend some money then go to Nordstrom. Designer jeans are sooo comfy and cute! There is a zillion jean options... go out there and find your perfect pair!!
