So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook Review
My youngest is 17 months old. He's at a point now where he has a few teeth. He can chew. He wants whatever we have. The problem is he can't always have everything we're having. Sure I make modifications to some of the food like chopping it up fine, maybe adding milk to make the texture smoother like in potatoes, or something like that. Not everything appeals to him though.
I had the opportunity to review the: So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook from Fresh Baby.
The So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook starts off with info about how to develop healthy eating habits in your toddler. There are tips for pick eaters, as well as a food terms section.
There are lots of fun recipes with colorful pictures of the dish. One of the things I was most impressed with however, is the they have a nutrition facts table for each and every recipe!
There are recipes for your ordinary toddler favorites like: homemade pizza and variations of Macaroni and cheese to recipes that are a little more different like: Sand Castle Couscous and Tropical Summer Soup. There's also healthy toddler dessert recipes for Smooth and Creamy popsicles and Orange Frosty.
All of the recipes are easy to follow and make. Some have pictures of several steps. Also, all of the ingredients in the recipes are easy to find common ingredient.
I would definitely recomment the So Easy Toddler Cookbook to anyone that cares for a toddler. I like to think I'm crafty but sometimes I need some ideas when it comes to food. This book was a great help. This book is also available in Spanish.
