Haircut and FOTD :)

Hi!  It's Thursday, which means it's almost the weekend!  Aren't you excited (I know I am!)?

I'm mainly looking forward to 1) getting to go out with my friends Friday night, and 2) not having to work Saturday!  Having a job in retail pretty much guarantees you work weekends, so it's nice to have a Saturday off now and then.  

Anyway, today I got a much needed haircut.  It had been since February since my last!  I went to my hairdresser (whom I only go to when I'm home from school; when I'm at school I end up having to go to those walk-in places) who plays the role of a therapist almost as well as she cuts hair.  I love her so much.  She always has me talk about every part of my life and I end up feeling a million pounds lighter when I leave.  

Nothing too crazy, but I did get bangs.  I brought in pictures of celebrities with more blunt-style bangs, but we decided to do something lighter.  To my surprise, I really like how she cut them!

Lasting B'liss

I will gladly admit that I would be considered 'high maintanence' in many areas of my life. Make-up, skincare and fashion, yes. My hair? Not so much. Its not that I don't care about my hair, it just doesn't take precedent over other things. Until now.

My friend Aoife and her sister share one of the only hair curlers that work in my hair. However, when I went to buy one myself, I was shocked at the price, which began my mission to find a curler that held curls and wasn't expensive. Many of you suggested the Babyliss Conical Curling Wand and while I was sceptical at first, I'm bloody happy I got it. Although I don't use conditioner on a regular basis, my hair is too soft resulting in my newly straightened or curled hair to kink the second I leave the house.

The Babyliss Curling Wand can be used to create waves and loose curls, which start big at the top and spiral to a tighter curl at the bottom; thus creating a more natural curl. You gently wrap the hair around the tong, starting from the top, and hold for a few seconds. And viola! It has four settings of heat, the highest being 200C, which is the setting I use for my hair. Not only does it curl in super quick time, taking me less than twenty minutes to curl my whole head, but they last for days. While the first day produces large, voluminous curls, the second results in beachy messy waves, that look just as beautiful as the day before.

For someone like me, who had given up spending hours curling my hair with a GHD for it to fall out within a short period, this is a god-send! And cheap too. I got mine on Amazon and would definitely recommend it for those who have trouble keeping their curls intact! If anyone wants me to do a 'tutorial' of how I curl my hair on my channel, just mention it in the comments below and I'll get on it!

I am an Aztec

Colour is not my forte. But on a recent trip to Primark/Penneys I snapped up a few 'summer pieces'. The fact that I'm not going away this Summer means I can stay happily in my neutrals. But for a few euro I will most certainly don a bit of colour. This 'aztec' type headband cost a mere 2euro and I love it.

I've been working a few more hours over the past few weeks, which is a godsend. I only have a small amount to go to pay off my course in a month and I'm saving for my SLR. After talking to many people, I have decided to opt for the Canon 1000d. While there is the whole Nikon/Canon debate, I just seem to gravitate towards the Canon. Very excited.

I did a video about it! So here's review for Grande Pink iron and also at the same time some kind of hair curling tutorial. Hope you enjoy and it helps you despite of my bad English and accent =___= *shame* I haven't really spoke English for a long time, I just always read and write it. My pronunciation really needs more practice. Now I have to use more English in my job so hopefully it will improve (^___^)

Hi, how is everyone doing? (≧▽≦)
I decided to make a short update before leaving for Helsinki tomorrow
I want to like little bit free time of reading for final exams and have some fun for a couple of days (*^ｰ^)
At home all my days just follow the same schema
Sleeping late in the morning, reading, going to a grocery store, making food, reading, watching TV, being on computer, reading, jogging and more reading.. So boring! ヾ(*￣∇)ﾂ

I don't have many photos to post now because most of the days I have spent looking horrible (=￣ω)／
But well here's some which I took at the beginning of this week




I have got many comments in my blog telling that my own hair is completely different colour than my extensions.
Yes, they were before and I already wrote the explanation in my blog when I got the extensions
So.. I didn't mind repeating the same thing again and again which I already wrote here (○｀ε´○)
Because then people who can read at the first time, would get totally bored reading the same thing over and over again XD

But well I already dyed my hair to same colour here (p*ﾟｰﾟ)乂(ﾟｰﾟ*q)
My hair being different colored also drove me crazy but sometimes you just can't avoid looking ugly
It took two months before I got appointment to a hair dresser.
Because I only trust on one hair dresser

For some reason, in the photos I take in my room, my hair still looks different colour (･_･")/
I think I found out the reason
The walls of my room are pink and when I take photos with flash light, somehow the reddish shade reflects in my own hair.
Also, colours of my camera are very high saturated so it even emphasizes it more.
My own hair is in very good condition and it is so shiny compared to extensions
So I think that's why the red shade reflects just in my own hair ( ￣д￣ )
I don't know how to change some colour settings in my camera so the colours wouldn't be that saturated ( ﾟДﾟ)ゞ
On the other hand, I like those colours but it really makes my hair look crazy


I took some photos outside in natural light so you would see what's the real colour of them
I hardly see any colour difference here (・ω・)
So, people calm down and don't get so easily pissed off just because of some minor things! (*￣▽￣*)

Here's my look for Women's day (*ノωノ)
Althought I did nothing special just went to a recapitulation of social studies.

My old one was years old and it didn't warm up completely anymore so curls didn't last well
This new one is bought from Hairstore, it was very cheap!
It isn't as hot as I expected but at least much better than my old one （*^。^人^。^* ）
But someday I'll buy this Herstyler curler..
Oh and by the way, this is 25 mm so it's also wider than the old.

Housewife Zhizhi in action again
Today I prepared some Korean food for 2 hours! (ﾉ∀｀●)⊃
Here's my own version of dakkangjung (sweet and crispy chicken), tuna kimpab, cooked bok choy and tomatoes as well as vitamin soup (ｂ´ェ`*)
Last two are actually more Vietnamese but goes well with this dinner, too.
This was the most delicious dinner I have cooked for a while!
