Found a make up site with big discounts and hard to find items

While surfing the web today I found a great little site that offers cosmetics at discounted prices.  I found them because I was trying to find out what Concrete Minerals weekly craving color was going to be.  I found out that GlossVine.com has 4 different Concrete Minerals mineral eye shadow shades for only $3.69 (originally $5.99).

That's not it though, you can also find Pixi by Petra cosmetics like the Pixi Energy blush originally $21 for $12.79.  Or how about Yes to Carrots lip gloss originally $6.49 for $3.39.    One of the best deals on the site I found...FaceFront Lip Tints sticks originally $7.50 for .49 cents!  Shipping is a flat rate $3.49 worldwide or free shipping on orders of $75. 

There's not a huge selection on the site right now but the deals they do have a pretty good.  So go check it out for yourself at Glossvine.com

Heartsy, a daily deal site for handmade goods and $5 credit

I found out about Heartsy from one of my fave etsy shops, Concrete Minerals. They were asking for likes for their deal. If they got enough likes then they would be able to offer a deal on their mineral makeup on Heartsy.

I really didn't know what kind of deal it would really be. Specific to Concrete Minerals I still don't know yet. I signed up for Heartsy and their email updates. There are some really good deals on hand made items.

ANGIE'S HANDMADE CANDLES 

Yes it's me.  I can't have a handmade giveaway and not give one of my readers something from my own shop. One FFCM readers will win a wax dip bear in their choice of scents available in my shop.  I make wax dip bears, jar candles, and melting tarts using soy wax.  I try to keep my business as green as possible by reusing boxes, packing material, and whatever I can to ship my products.  Wax dip bears work similar to a room air freshener.  Sit one of these guys on their provided glass plate on a dresser in a bedroom, on your mantle, kitchen counter or wherever you'd like to add some fragrance.  Fragrance without the flame.  Scent will generally last about 30 days.  After 30 days you can refresh the scent by running a hair dryer over them for about 30 seconds.

1. How/why did you start your handmade business?

After working in the music industry for several years, I found myself working with some incredible companies in the natural beauty industry. This was where I found my passion in mineral makeup. I decided to launch a company that would embrace the incredible benefits of mineral makeup, yet cater to a trendier, younger generation of women looking to explore a healthier alternative to standard makeup without sacrificing the pigmentation and quality that they love.

2. What is your favorite item to create and why?

Our Electric Eye Primer. It's such a unique, hand-crafted formula that excludes all filler ingredients and preservatives and manages to rival several of the pro primers on the market today. We've received so many compliments and rave reviews, that each time I make it, I feel an incredible sense of pride.


3. Do you have any future goals or plans for your business that my readers would like to know about?

We do have SEVERAL new releases within the next few months, beginning this month with the release of a bunch of new mineral eye shadows! I can't WAIT to share these as well as the new products joining our line in March!
