Gimme Clips "Decorate Your Life" review/giveaway NEW Rafflecopter entry! US/Canada 7/31

My hair is...complicated. My hair has a slight wave. I have thin hairs but I have a lot. My hair has never been able to hold a curl and most clips and barrettes just slide out of it. It got to the point that I just stopped trying to fix my hair because it would never stay. I've been lucky enough to find a few hair products lately thought that seem to stay in my stubborn hair.

I had the opportunity to try Gimme Clips. Gimme Clips are mom invented and mom driven. Gimme Clips was started in 2008 by a St. Louis mom of 3 girls. She started purchasing silk flowers at her local craft store and just started creating clips for her girls. Now Gimme Clips are sold nationwide at Walgreen's and Target.  You may have already seen the "Gimme Braids display" in some Walgreens.

I was sent an assortment of products.  What I love about the products is the unique clips.  They stay in my hair so well.  BUT, Gimme clips are not just for your hair.  You can use them as decorative accents on your clothes, handbags, shoes, and wherever else you might think of.

I tried to show the clip on this one.  It's a metal clip that easily pinches open like a clothespin of sorts.

This set here comes with the headband, flowers clip, and elastics.  I like this set in particular because you can use each of the items separately or together.  The Flower clips into a little ribbon on the side of the headband or you can clip the flower to an elastic in your hair.  I did that for a wedding I attended just a couple weeks ago.  The clip stayed the whole time through dancing and everything.

I discovered Vivacious Swimwear on twitter: @Vivacious_swim because they had a tweet about a fantastic sale. $15 monokinis and $10 bikinis. I checked out the site. They had a great selection on their site. There was quite a few choices in the sale too.

From now until July 15 you can get in on the sale for $10 bikinis and $15 Monokinis.   I had the opportunity to review a Vivacious Swimwear swimsuit.  I had a hard time choosing.  I ended up deciding on the Isla Ultimate Cleavage bikini in black.  First of all I thought it was a nice looking bathing suit.  Second of all, repeating that I am not a busty gal and thought this might add something to to my figure. 

Ok that picture is NOT me, not even close.  This is the pic from the Vivacious Swimwear website.  I do like the way the suit fits me however.  I got a very positive reaction from the hubs when I tried it on.

This suit is very well made.  Very durable construction.  For a bikini, it covers well.  (IE I don't feel like I'm hanging out of the pants and the top covers well).  The top ties in the back and at the top.  The top is padded and gives a lift as the name suggests.  This particular bathing suit also comes in white.

I'm a bit shy about putting up a bikini pic of me here.  Trust me when I say, that this is a quality suit. The customer service from Vivacious swimwear has been excellent. Shipping from Australia, to here in the US, I got my suit in just a little over a week. That is super fast.

As a mom of 3 boys, I don't get to buy to many pretty, girly things unless it's for myself. I don't know about you but I have a tendency to buy for my kids and leave myself last, if at all. I had the opportunity to review an item from www.lovemode.com.  Trendy juniors clothing online at affordable prices. 

I scoured over the pages of tops and dresses included in their site.  I finally decided on a top for me.  The styles were geared for juniors sizes so I wanted to choose a top for myself that looked cute, I thought would actually look good on this "mom of 3 body" and fit my style.

I found this super cute Mint Green Satin Lace Top.  I was a little unsure what size to order for myself since they were juniors sizes.  I reluctantly ordered a Medium in the back of my head thinking (I don't know Ang maybe you better order a large)  As it turns out, a mediums was perfect with the way the shirt is styled.  Actually it was rather roomy.  It's a dressier top.  I'm planning on wearing it to my friends wedding in July.  What do you think?

This shirt is a pretty light mint green color. It's all satin except for the later trim on the sleeves and bottom of the shirt.  There's a cute matching belt tie at the waist.  This shirt was great for covering up my muffin top.  (Yes I have one, you'll see when I start my Hot Pants ambassador program documentation).

There are so many cute tops and dress.  Most of the dresses to me seem more appropriate for clubwear. I found most of the dress collection to be a bit short for my taste.   Then again I'm not a teenager anymore.  I'm sure the teen and tween girls love the selection.

Tan in a Can!

My experiences with self tanner have been horrid. I can never find one that is convenient and doesn't look horrible, that doesn't break the bank. I've tried Jergens, Sunny Days, Bare Bronze, and a few others. They just simply take too long, streak, or despite exfoliating, STILL stain the knees and elbows. What the heck?

Well I decided to venture into Bath and Body Works to pick up some Secret Wonderland body wash and spray and ended up browsing. I cam accross their "True Blue" body collection. There was a gtradual lotion tanner, and I am just like, nope...Kept browsing and found the "True Blue" Fast Drying All Angle Airbrush Tan.

I sprayed it on my arm, paid for my things and left. The next morning when I woke up, WOW BEAUTIFUL bronze glowing color! I was shocked! I immediatley went back and bought 3 more. They were buy 2 get 1 free. (They are $15.00/ 1 can)

I've used it on my arms and legs, back, and upper chest area. I have had no issues. It is so easy to apply. Dries completely in about 15 minutes. (I stand in front of a fan!) There is a slight smell in while applying, but it goes away. Color developed for me in about 5-6 hours.

It says you can re-apply 8 hours later and then every 2-3 days for upkeep. So far I have used just one can about 4 times...so I think it is worth it! I love this product, and I don't have to stand 20 minutes in a tanning booth, and well since PA doesn't want Summer sun to come, I can enjoy my TAN IN A CAN!!!

I always admired the unique look and design of Boon Inc. Products.  I had the exciting opportunity to review Boon's Water Bugs with my soon to be 2 year old.    The water bugs set has a unique and seemingly simple design.  I opened the packaging and examined the pieces for myself.  As I gripped the net I realized how thought out the design really is.  The bulb-like handle makes it very easy to grip and keep a hold of.

The Water Bug pieces themselves have a genius design too.  They are bigger and easy to grip.  One piece so no worries about small parts for little ones.  They float on the water in the tub (or pool with summer coming up) and are easy to find in the tub.  My little guy plays with these even when he's not in the tub.

The net is attached firmly.  This is a very well made toy.  There is nothing flimsy or concerning about it.   At only $10 for the set this is a great toy to give your little ones for the tub or summer fun.

My son had a ball scooping them up and dumping them out.  He also would line the bugs up on the side of the tub and push them in the water or the net one by one.  I would hold each one up and say "blue bug", "white bug", etc hoping we could get some learning in too.  We also did counting.
