Hot Pants by Zaggora size suggestion: What sizes should I get?

I have been visiting Hot Pants Facebook page frequently since I started my trial on Wed. July 13. One question I've seen come up a few times is if your on the fence about what size to buy, here's my suggestion:

The size conversion chart on www.gethotpants.com site has it broke into UK, US, and EU sizes. I'm going to go with US sizes here since that is what I'm familiar with.

As I mentioned in my initial Hot Pants test post I can wear anything from a 6-10 depending on the brand and style of the clothes though a 6 is a rarity for me. I ordered a small because the size conversion chart said a small fit between 6-10. When I got them in the mail, I tried them on immediately.  I had to pull each side of the zipper together in order to zipper that pants.  They were pretty snug.  I think if I would have been a solid size 10 or if my size was mostly due to my hip bones (which won't give of course) I don't know that I would have got them on.   My sister got the Large.  She would have been right in the middle with the sizing between 14-18 but she said she's tried everything to zipper them up and she's not able to. 

The pants are supposed to fit snug but my suggestion, if you're on the highest end of a size, you may want to order the next size up.  I've seen some say that they were able to get them on easier if they didn't unzipper them and just pulled them up.  They are a bit stretchy so that may work for some.
