Help girls! I need advice!

Ok, so I'm so tired of my wavy/curly hair!! It takes wayyy to long to style and never looks right. I've been doing some research about different professional hair straighteners/relaxers.
I heard about one called the Japanese Hair Straightener. It costs about &400+ ($100 an hour) but it makes your hair extremely straight, smooth and silky. You don't even need to blow dry your hair! I read some reviews about it online and makeupalley and everyone raves about it! 97% would do it again on MUA. The price is a little too much for me and I don't know if I want my hair poker straight for a year. I don't think my hair looks that good flat like that but NO BLOWDRYING!!! I'm sold.

The other one the girl at the salon told me about was by Rusk and it was called the Anti Curl. This one does make your hair pretty straight but still leaves some body which I really like. It's only $100 with cut and style. MUCH BETTER! However, the reviews aren't so great. Only like %67 people on MUA would do it again. Some said it totally ruined their hair and didn't really do anything and others said it worked amazingly.

So, my question you is... have you done one of these or know of someone who has. If so... how did it work and was it worth it?

I have the type of hair that if I even highlight it it's fried and frizzy! I have pretty dry hair that breaks easily!

Thanks for your help, girls!!

CHI Silk Infusion

Oh my gosh.. this stuff is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! I didn't think I would like it this much! I have really annoying hair. It's very wavy and curly and I always have to straighten it. When I blow dry my hair it usually looks really kinky underneath and kinda frizzy.
The Chi Silk Infusion makes my hair sooooo soft, smooth and stright. I didn't even have to straighten my hair today!!! That to me is amazing. I ALWAYS have to strighten my hair!
You only need a tiny bit because it's pretty concentrated and just work it through your hair before you blow dry. Repeat when using a flat iron or curling iron because it protects your hair from the heat.
I've heard some people say they didn't care for the smell of it but I actually like the smell.
I got the small bottle and I mean SMALL bottle for $13 at Walgreens.
I'm soooooo impressed with this stuff and so happy I've found it.
I recommend it for all hair types but especially for wavy or curly that gets straightend a lot!
Wish it wasn't so pricy but I think it's well worth it!!!

CHI Flat Iron

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with it. I found mine off of Amazon.com. I just typed CHI flat iron and on the page it says look at new or used so I clicked on it and I found a new one going for $60.. good deal but what made the deal was if you open up a VISA card through Amazon they give you $30 back... so I got my CHI for $30... ok... that's awesome. These Flat Irons are anywhere from $170-70 new... make sure you look at amazon if you are interested in one!!

Ok.. so my thoughts on it.

I have a really long, wavy/curly hair.. pretty much difficult hair! The CHI did an amazing/FAST job at making my hair look really straight and very shiny! I love how you can curl your ends with it, too. My only gripe is it gets SOOOOO hot... I burnt my fingers a few times. The outer shell gets so hot and and because the iron is so thin there is not much to grab and if you aren't careful you will burn your fingers on the side.

I'm pleased with it and would recommend this to any friend and I do think it's worth the price and in my case I didn't have to pay much and I hope you have the same luck as I did if you are looking into getting this!!

CHI Flat Iron

I watched a video on YT yesterday about how to get sleek runway hair done by julieg713 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SgWPfANKCU
So, she totally sold me on the CHI flat iron... I've been reading reviews about it though and some people love it and some people hate it. I've heard it can be pretty harsh on the hair but what hair strightner isn't?? I've also heard they die pretty easy so that kinda sucks.
I found one on Amazon.com for $60 and if you open up an Amazon Visa card then you get $30 back from them...making my grand total $30... good deal... good deal.
My only fear is that it's not an authentic CHI because I'm not buying it directly from CHI. This is what lack of self control gets me... panic and fear. Ha ha

Has anyone else used this and what do you think about it? Is it worth it and is all the hype about it true?

What other hair strightners do you love??
